The Nama Plant Presentation

Our plant presentation will introduce visitors to 6 or 8 local desert plants used by the Nama people for medical purposes.

The Nama people have, over time collected a substantial amount of knowledge on the arid environment of Southern Namibia. Plants are still used today to treat various ailments and conditions.

Our guide, through his demonstration, will explain the preparation and the different uses of these plants.
